Available Positions:

FULL-TIME BREWER

Someone that is passionate about beer with experience and creativity is needed for this position.

This is a very physical job and the person needs to comfortably lift 50 pounds often and work in small places.

Responsibilities include:

  • Brewing, racking and filtering beer on our 7 bbl system.
  • Keeping all 14 taps supplied and pouring beer to all 4 bars.
  • Keeping our gift shop stocked with beer.
  • Filling and stocking growlers.
  • Keeping the brewery meticulously clean.
  • Giving daily brewery tours.

Host – Support Staff

Responsibilities include:

Greet all guests with a smile, seat guests at tables, work the giftshop, help in all areas.

  • Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
  • Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
  • Seat guests
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
  • Learn food and beverage menu
  • Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
  • Answer phones
  • The right candidate will have great customer service skills and be willing to work hard.
  • Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment, produce consistently, be able to get along with others and handle stress during busy periods.

Wait Staff

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet all guests with a smile, seat guests at tables, work the giftshop, help in all areas.
  • Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
  • Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Prepares room for dining by setting tables and condiments, napkins, service plates, utensils, and setting up serving areas.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed of allergies, etc.
  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
  • Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
  • Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Expeditor – Support Staff

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
  • Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
  • Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils
  • Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Multi-tasking abilities

Housekeepers

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
    • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
    • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks

Responsibilities include:

DISHWASHER

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed.
  • Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
  • Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
  • Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
  • Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
  • Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels
  • Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
  • Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.

This position is the first contact our busy Inn has with guests. Must have strong customer service skills, love to work with people. Will be taking reservations over the phone, dealing with guests in person and over the phone. Good cash handling skills. Good computer skills. Must be available nights and weekends
